making lifelong friends while celebrating his faith quietly. He believed
in giving back to the community, without ever wanting any accolades for
his volunteer work. For years, he picked up food that was going to be
thrown away from neighborhood grocery stores and delivered it to the Salvation
Army. He was also a volunteer poll worker.

and friends at a baseball game, keeping score on his own scorecard, eating
ice cream and singing "Take Me Out to the Ball Game."
