Charles William 'Chuck' Travelstead, 69 years old of Bixby, Oklahoma, died May 12, 2016. Born on June 11, 1946 in Denton, Texas. Chuck was graduate of Northeastern State University after serving in the United States Air Force. Chuck taught for over 25 years at Union Public Schools and was most proud of his contributions to the education profession. He loved his friends and family and enjoyed his lake fishing trips, good BBQ, clean cars, starched shirts, School Super Safety Patrol and a good laugh. Chuck is survived by wife Carolyn, daughter Kimberly of Colorado, son Chuck Jr., of New Mexico, and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by brothers Eric, Butch, James and Chris. Sisters Mary, Katrina, and DeDe; sister-in-law: Kay Wingo of Muskogee; Grandchildren Chelsea, Tanner and Bronson.
