Llwanna Gale McNutt Dutton was born to Austin McNutt and Grace Bucher McNutt on September 4, 1936 and passed from her earthly home to her Heavenly home on November 16 th 2014 following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Malvern, Ohio and resided in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the time of her death. Llwanna, who was lovingly known as Gale, was number 5 of 7 children born to Austin and Grace. At an early age Gale was placed in foster care. Oh the horror stories she could tell, but she did not let it define who she would eventually be as an adult. At age 18 she returned to living with her mother. This is where she met her future husband, James D Dutton, Sr. He was in the Air force and stationed with one of Gales brothers. Jim followed him home during a leave and was introduced to Gale. They were married June 18, 1955 and were married for 33 years. Being unable to conceive children of their own Gale and Jim adopted two children. First was James D Dutton, Jr and then Dianna Lynn Dutton. Gale followed Jim throughout his service career and they then settled in Texas while Jim worked for Darr Equipment Company. Gale was a homemaker for many years. She did eventually go to work for McDonalds and worked for approximately 20 years. For the past 19 years Gale was an avid Nascar fan and her favorite driver was Jeff Gordon. She was able to attend two different races at the Texas Motor Speedway. In 2007, following the death of her dear sisters Muriel and Jackie and her first bout of cancer, Gale moved to Tulsa, OK to be near her son and family. She was preceded in death by her parents, all her siblings and various nieces and nephews. She is survived by James Dutton, Jr and wife Letaza, Tulsa, OK and daughter Dianna Lynch and husband David of Wichita Falls, TX . She was blessed with 3 grandchildren, Jarred and Amanda Tressler and Aleah Dutton. She had 2 step grandchildren Rustin Pritchard and wife Lindsay and Levi Pritchard and wife Rachel. She also welcomed 5 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She had one specially selected daughter Rhonda Piazza and her extended family. Gales life will be celebrated during memorial services at Christ the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Tulsa on November 20 th at 2:00 and Dutton Funeral Home in Iowa Park, TX on November 22, 2014. Interment will be in the Temple Cemetery in Temple, OK immediately following the Iowa Park memorial service. Please leave a condolence or a memory on this page.
