Mary Katherine 'Herbie' Koch joined her beloved husband, John, on February 18, 2012 with her loving family at her side. Mary was born on November 6, 1930, in Quincy, Illinois to Edward and Laura Barton. She was a founding member of St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic Church. For many years she was active as a Server and Eucharistic Minister. She derived her greatest enjoyment and satisfaction in life from church, friends and cherished family. Mary is survived by two 'light of her life' children, their spouses and children. Her son, John, his wife, Kristi and children, James and Kristin reside in Northboro, Massachusetts. Her daughter Laura Sanders, her husband, Tommy, and children, Sara and Zachary reside in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. A sister, Lou Ann, and many nieces and nephews also survive her.
