Allen Wayne Ward born August 31, 1933, left this life on July 7, 2017 to be with his Father in heaven. Wayne was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend to many. Wayne is survived by his wife of 60 years Kay Cowan Ward, son Kelly Wayne Ward and daughters, Pamela Kay Williams and Leslie Ward Umfleet. Wayne has 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren with an additional great grandchild due early 2018. Wayne's son Kelly Wayne Ward and wife LeeAnn have four children; Leslie, KT, Michelle and Tucker Ward, of Florida. Wayne's daughter Pamela Kay Williams has four children including son; Christopher Robuck and wife Wendy and daughter Zoey, of Texas; son Daniel Stone and wife Kristina and son Mac of Tulsa; daughter, Cindi Robertson and husband Rob have a daughter Emmi and a son Maddox of Tulsa; daughter Rebekah Guill and husband Hugh of Houston, have a precious baby on the way. Wayne's baby girl Leslie and husband Michael and son Hudson Rucker; daughters Paige Umfleet and Kara Hamilton with husband Mark, all of Tulsa. Allen Wayne Ward had accomplished much in his 83 years. He graduated from high school in Anniston, Alabama and still holds many dear friends there. Wayne went on to graduate from Clemson University in 1955 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and followed up with a Master's of Science in Engineering in 1969 from the University of Alabama. He was a registered professional engineer in the UK, Canada and Europe, as well as the United States. Wayne was a past President of the Oklahoma Society of Professional Engineers and served as a Board Member for the National Society of Professional Engineers. He was a Captain and pilot in the U.S. Marine Corps and loved telling stories of flying helicopters while in the service. Wayne was an avid Clemson and Alabama football fan. Wayne and Kay spent 12 years together using their professions and serving the Lord in Hong Kong and China. Wayne was an amazing, caring man who will always be loved and missed by many. The Memorial Service will be held Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the sanctuary at First Presbyterian Church, 709 S. Boston Ave., Tulsa, OK, with a reception to follow.
