Alma 'Alene' McIntire, 80, of Tulsa, OK passed away on July 7, 2018. She was born on September 8, 1937 to Alee Madison and Francis Pearle (Kirkbride) Lively and grew up in Coffeyville, KS. She attended the Hillcrest Medical Center School of Nursing and graduated with the Class of 1957. Alene took some time away from nursing to pursue a career in Real Estate but ultimately returned to her true passion of nursing after a few years. She loved to sew and spent many hours sewing knitting. Throughout her life she used her talents to give back generously to her community; she always had a natural desire for serving others. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Juno Lively and her daughter Cheryl Burkemper. She is survived by daughter Vicki Healy and husband, Jim; son-in-law Ken Burkemper; and four grandchildren Jessica Hopkins and husband Preston; Eric Burkemper and wife Nicole; Elizabeth Thomas and husband Mitchell; Brian Healy; and one great-grandson, Emmett Thomas. Services to honor her life will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Church Episcopal, 10901 S. Yale, Tulsa, OK 74137.
