IN LOVING MEMORY OF

January 11, 1958 – May 20, 2024
Annetta Kay Potter 66-year-old Claremore resident went home to her blessed Father on May 20, 2024, after her battle with lung cancer. She was born on January 11, 1958 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Maymie Herring Cason and Emery Herring.
In 1978 Annetta met the love of her life Pam Scott. They enjoyed 45 years together. During that time, they moved from Tulsa to the South Grand Lake area to be closer to Annetta's 2 daughters Tina Herring Harper and Christy Potter Roach. She cleaned homes for a living for 30 plus years. In 1995 Annetta and Pam joined together with Linda Gabriel and Judy Slagle to open a Mexican restaurant, Tia Juana Amigos in Tia Juana, Oklahoma. Annetta was a very hard worker and took pride in the work she did whether it be cleaning houses and boats or working in the restaurant, or the many other jobs she held throughout her life. Annetta enjoyed camping, vacationing in Branson, Las Vegas, and Hawaii, and anything to make memories with her family. Annetta wanted everyone to know she was very proud of her family. She was proud to say she gave birth to her oldest daughter at the age of 15. She also was proud that she raised her grandson, Dakota.
