Arliss E. Willhite, Jr., 69, from Tulsa, Oklahoma passed away on September 17, 2018. A Celebration of his Life will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at the American Legion Hall, 1120 E. 8th St., Tulsa, Oklahoma. Mr. Willhite was born October 27, 1948 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Known as Willy to many of his friends, Arliss was a decorated Marine veteran of the Vietnam War and a graduate of the University of Tulsa with a B.A. in History. He retired after 28 years with the USPS. Willie loved the Golden Hurricane, the Sooners, and the Oklahoma Thunder. An avid soccer and tennis player and bass fisherman, he loved watching all sports. He was a regular at his grandsons� baseball and soccer sidelines. Arliss also loved music, especially Rock & Roll, Old Country, and Gospel. He often sang with choirs and spontaneously, whether you wanted him too or not, would join in to sing along with his nieces at their many performances. The greatest loves of his life was his family and the Marine Corps. Arliss was preceded in death by his father, Arliss E. Willhite, Sr., his birth mother, Mickey Florence Hood, and his siblings, Mikeal Angelo and Mary Siota Rogers. Survivors include, his mother, Mary Jean Willhite; his daughters, Piper Willhite Turner, Summer Magic Jenkins, and Kaori Milowski, and his son, Tiger Joe Willhite; his grandsons, Emerson Turner, Jack Jenkins, Leon Milowski, and Guthrie Turner; his granddaughters, Karen Milowski, Sophie Jenkins, and Gigi Jenkins; his siblings, Debbie Willhite, Teresa Rogers Malaby, and Mark Rogers; and his nieces and nephews, Angela Rojas, Monica Rojas Baker, Amber Valletta, Kim Lyons, William Goodwin, Chris Rogers, Logan Rogers, Jennifer Rogers, Hope Rogers, and Noah Rogers.
