IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Arthur Lawrence
Jackson
March 3, 1955 – December 26, 2023
Arthur L. Jackson, 68, passed away on December 26, 2023 at his home in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
He was born on March 3, 1955 in Port Jefferson, New York to parents Verne and Janet (Jay) Jackson. He was born the second of what would be six kids. His mother moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma with the first three boys early in his life, which is where he grew up.
Arthur spent most of his life working in aviation, which he loved with a passion. He loved airplanes to point of almost driving us off the road trying to get a better look at whatever airplane happened to be flying over. The airlines gave him the luxury of being able to visit, or live, in countries on every continent except Antarctica (even though he tried).
He was a true prankster that loved tormenting all those that he loved and worked with but was eventually respected and sometimes loved back. He revealed in all the luxuries that chance and hard work brought his way. In everything, he tried to do his best as well as respect those around him no matter what their status in life. He was never afraid of new adventures in work, home, or recreation because, after all his years, he was truly only five years old. His childlike enjoyment of everything was one of his most endearing qualities. He will be sorely missed by those of us he has momentarily left behind. Rest in Peace Mr. J. because you deserve it. Öh, what a Lucky Man He Was! ¨.
He is survived by his second wife of 42 years, three children and three known grandchildren who were the delight of his life as well as four of his siblings.
