Arthur (Art) Earl Williams, 84, from Wann, OK passed away on December 15, 2020 at 12:15pm at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. Mr. Williams was born October 25, 1935 in Powell, Wyoming. Born to Earl and Helen (Towery) Williams. Art grew up in SE Kansas and served in the US Navy on the USS Turner Joy. Over the years he had many jobs and retired from CBW Automation in Fort Collins, CO. After retirement, he moved to Sedan, KS to help care for his mother. Art recently moved back to Wann, OK to be closer to his family . Art enjoyed golf, fishing, hunting, gardening, raising calves and chickens, and most of all, spending time with his beloved family. He was a man who never met a stranger and was loved by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by both of his parents, two brothers: Ernest Williams and Richard (Dick) Williams; one sister, Dianna Vanderpool, granddaughter, Roxie Whipple, grandson, Daven Spencer and great granddaughter, Payton Phillips. Survivors include wife Maxine, five daughters: Shelly Harbour (Bill Neal) of Wichita, KS, Tania Houser (George) of Wann, OK, Angela Johnson (Billy) of Wichita, KS, Carla Nicholas of St Louis, MO and Jessica Harris (Michael) of Dexter, MO; one stepson, Danny Beebe of Colorado, two brothers: John Williams (Dorothy) of Eskridge, KS and Steve Williams (Jimmy) of Wichita, KS; one sister, Alice Smith of Supply, NC, 17 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Veterans Affairs and/or the American Legion.
