Obituary

Audrey P. Robison, 94, of Tulsa, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at her home with family by her side. Audrey was born March 6, 1921 in Vernon, TX to Rosie Rae Poston and Wesley W. Poston. Soon after her birth the family moved to Breckenridge, Texas where she attended school and was a cheerleader. One of the highlights of her life was working at Hughes-Olds, an architectural firm in Abilene, TX. Mr. Hughes was personally trained by Frank Lloyd Wright. She was married to Charles L. Robison of Dover, Oklahoma for 60 years. Audrey served as the board president of YMCA in Enid and Tulsa. She was a long-time member of the Tulsa Philharmonic, the Seed and Weed Garden Club, Pioneer chapter of Questers and the international antiques and study club. She served as the first Oklahoma State President of Questers and attended 27 International Conventions. She has been a member of Yale Avenue Christian Church, and for many years of John Knox Presbyterian Church. Audrey was preceded in death by: her parents; husband; a sister, Betty Posten; and brother, Ray Posten. She is survived by her children: sons, Charles L. Robison, Jr. (Jean), of Frisco, TX; John Wesley Robison, of Tulsa; and daughter, Judith R. Ritter (Bob), of Aiken, SC. She also leaves three grandchildren: Nol Ritter and Trevor Ritter, of Atlanta, GA; and Paisley J. Robison, of Frisco, TX. Service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at the Chapel of John Knox Presbyterian Church, 2929 E. 31st St, Tulsa, OK 74105.
