Barbara Ann Pearson, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, went on to be with the Lord, June 25, at the age of 81.
Barbara was born on April 25,1939 in Newnan, Georgia, to James Oliver Vann and Margaret Hammett Vann. She graduated in 1957 from Scarsdale High, and Endicott College in 1959. She married William H. Pearson September 5, 1959.
Barbara was gifted with creativity, which was exemplified throughout her life. She was a five star homemaker, raising her girls in a home filled with tailor-made love and laughter. She was a great encourager to her family, and those privileged to know her.
Barbara lived her life to honor her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
For over a decade, she served faithfully at Nassau Christian
Center in Princeton, N.J. Later, she attended Calvary Cathedral International in Ft. Worth, TX. She graduated Bible School, and became a teacher at Calvary Cathedral International Bible School. She was a Bible teacher, Worship leader, Music teacher, Piano teacher, and life long student of the Word of God. Barbara attended Encounter Church, in Tulsa, OK. She loved the presence of God, and longed to be wherever people were praising the Lord.
Barbara is survived by her sister, Patricia Polhemus, of Magnolia, TX, two daughters, Tamberly Virnoche of Arlington, TX, and Patricia Lee, of Broken Arrow, OK. Daughter, Joyce Pearson, preceded her in death. She adored her ten grandchildren, and loved being G.G. to seven great-grandchildren.
A gathering to celebrate her life will be held Saturday, July 25,
2020 at 10am. @ Encounter Church, 2828 S 129th E Ave. Tulsa.
