Ben Ray Hughes �Pete� was born August 22, 1938 in Skiatook, Oklahoma to Jim and Noni Hughes. He passed away April 23, 2018 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Pete graduated from Skiatook High School in 1956. He later attended and graduated from Baker University in Kansas obtaining his Bachelors� Degree in business and a minor in history. He later returned home to work the family oil business with his wife and child. He pursued other areas of business also. Pete was an avid photographer and computer enthusiast. He is preceded in death by his parents; sons: Eric Scott and Troy Dawson Hughes. Pete is survived by his long-time companion: Marcy Janitz; son: Joel Hughes and wife Sherry; daughter: Sherry Allen; brother: Bill Hughes; five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Services for Ben are pending at this time. His ashes will be interred at Rolling Oaks Memorial Gardens in the Rose Garden. 4300 East 91st Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74137.
