On January 19, 2021, Bernadette Georgene Miller went to meet her Lord and Savior at the young age of 75.
Bernadette was joined in marriage to Johnnie Lee Miller Sr. on December 23, 1963 in Drumwright, Oklahoma.
Bernadette was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Lee Miller, Sr., father, Loren B. Petitt, mother, Vergina K. Petitt, brother, Lowarance V. Petitt, sister,Latrica Beatty, and brother, Murel Petitt.
She is survived by her sister, Joyce Blankenship, brother, David Petitt, sister, Charolette Vandever, sister, Eris Allan and brother, David Petitt.
She was a loving mother of two children, Monica Miller and Johnnie Lee Miller, Jr.
Bernadette Miller was born in Drumwight, Oklahoma in 1945. She loved her children dearly as well as her grandchildren: Nakansha Boliinger, Jamie Toineeta and K'Lea Blankenship; as well as her great-grandchildren: Kaden, Bryce, Blaze, Mackenna, Mihya, Sky, Leighlah, and Mia; and several nieces and nephews.
Bernadette worked at many different places, Cleveland Manor Nursing Home, Howard Johnson's, Yale Nursing Home, Richard's Kitchen and many other various jobs. Later in life, she became a simple housewife of the home.
She loved baking, fishing, hunting, camping, making crafts, shopping and going places with her niece, Cathy.
She never met a stranger she didn't like.
Bernadette would always say, "Come and See Me," then call and say, "When a red bird comes to visit, it's a loved one coming to see you, say hello, and to watch over you."
