Bill Charles Ferguson died on September 14, 2015 at his home. He was born December 14, 1937 in Gainesville, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father, William Ferguson, his mother, Edith Ensey and step-father, Russell Ensey, and his brother, Kenneth Ferguson, along with his life-long partner of 55 years, George Matarazzo. He is survived by his brother, Ron Ferguson, his sisters Michelle (Rob) Shuffield, and Karramae (Tim) Campbell all of Arkansas, and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by many close friends including Connie Smith, Gordon and Amy Bailie, Noel Doherty, Dick Slattery, Ernesto Alcala, Dan Burnstein, Martin Martinez, Tom Bush, and Marty and Allie Jensen. Bill was a graduate of the Fashion Institute of New York, and was a buyer for Frougs Department Store for many years, before joining George at their business, Frame of Mine Gallery. They loved to travel, visiting many countries and states. They were active in Tulsa Little Theater, the Equality Center, and the Unity Center. Memorial contributions may be made to the Tulsa Girls Art School, Oklahomans for Equality, and the OK Mens Chorale. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at The Unity Center, 18th and Boston.
