Billie Ruth Smith (Swarthout), 77, passed away peacefully at home with her family surrounding her on April 1, 2026. She was born on June 3, 1948, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she was also raised.

Billie was a devoted wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, and sister whose love for her family was steady and unwavering. She shared her life with her husband, Stan Smith, and took great pride in her daughter, Mandy Molloy, and son-in-law, James Molloy. One of her greatest joys was being a grandmother to her beloved granddaughter, Kinsey Molloy and grandson, Cody Molloy.

She is also survived by her brother, Lee Swarthout, and her sister, Jerry Miles.

Billie was preceded in death by her parents, Ruth Swarthout (Wing) and William Swarthout.

Billie had a deep and abiding faith and found great joy and community through her church family at Victory Christian Church in Tulsa. Her faith was a guiding light in her life and a source of strength and comfort to those around her.

Those who knew Billie will remember her for her kindness, her strength, and the deep love she gave so freely to the people around her. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, care, and devotion that will continue to live on in her family.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Victory Church at 7700 S Lewis Ave in Tulsa on April 20, 2026 at 10 am.
