IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Brenda Faye
Keathley
May 11, 1943 – January 22, 2026
Brenda Faye Keathley passed away peacefully at the age of 82 in her home on Thursday, January 22, 2026, in the loving care of her husband Kenny Keathley and her daughter, Jamie Vittum. She was born May 11, 1943, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Brenda grew up in Tulsa, and attended Nathan Hale High School. She had a long career as an accounting clerk working for Huttig Sash and Door for many years. She went on to work at Thermal Windows for 19 years, retiring in 2019.
Grandma Brenda made time to reach out to her treasured grand kids, often offering her well meaning albeit unsolicited advice and urgent weather updates. Any chance she got to rock or feed a great grand baby was always taken. She seemed lit from within just seeing them play and have fun and often found herself in the mix like a kid herself.
Her fur babies, Itsy, Rowdy and Maggie, were her favorite companions. Brenda gave them her utmost attention. She had many adored pets over the years, most of them rescues, she showered them with love and attention. Brenda was an avid OU fan and armchair coach always willing her Sooners to win. When Nascar was on she was glued to the race on the edge of her seat. She loved going on scenic motorcycle rides, and fishing with her husband Kenny and watching sprint car races featuring her late son Mike.
She is survived by her husband Ken Keathley of Tulsa, OK, her beloved daughters, Jamie (Lampron) Vittum of Wolfeboro, NH and Debbie (Lampron) Deckard and her husband David of Edmond, OK, her daughter-in-love Mindy Kincade of Tulsa, OK, her brother Van (Don) Foutch and his wife Mary of Edmond, OK, as well as her precious grandchildren Maleah, Emma and Gentry Kincade of Broken Arrow, OK, Cade Vittum of Boston, MA, Erinn Vittum, the traveling granddaughter with a home base in Wolfeboro, NH, Garrison and Jaeger Hendrickson both of Wolfeboro, NH, Jake Nichols of Visalia, CA and Erika (Nichols) Brawdy of Edmond, OK and and great grandchildren Hendrix, Harlow, Kynslee, Miles, Karisma, Sarabi, Summer, Logan and Emma.
Brenda was preceded in death by her mother Laney (Cannon) Shannon and her stepfather Howard Shannon of Tulsa and her cherished son Michael Andrew Lampron Keathley of Wolfeboro, NH.
The family will have a private celebration of life in Wolfeboro, NH where Brenda will be laid to rest. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Healy Center for ALS at Mass General, Boston Mass by going to massgeneral.org/neurology.com.
We love and miss you so much. Your fiery spunky spirit, and loving nudges of care could never be forgotten.
