The laughter stopped on April Fool's Day. Bryan Keith Basinger, better known as 'Corky', went home on Saturday, April 1, 2017. Corky was born September 7, 1966 in Paris, Texas to James and Betty (Boswell) Basinger. Bryan was a Loving Husband to Julie, Epic father to Matt, Dyllan and Sydney, Proud grandpa of Forrest and Liam, Devoted son of James and Betty Basinger, Loyal brother to Rusty, Happy Uncle, Faithful owner of Lola his Basset Hound, and a Best Friend to everyone he ever met. He knew the importance of living a life with people you love. Comedian, Jokester, Prankster, Impersonator, Singer, Dancer The list of Corky's talents goes on and on. His Impersonations of Rosco P Coltrane, Buford T Justice, Larry the Cable Guy, and Roy D Mercer, to name a few, kept us all in stitches. If you listen really closely you can hear him whisper Get-R-Done. The way he died is just like he lived: he wrote his own rules, he fought authority and he paved his own way. Bryan loved life; he seized it by the waist, gave it a big smooch, and said let's dance. He enjoyed his family, friends, traveling, cruising, Siegi's Sausage Factory, fireworks. He loved to sing Hello Dolly with his family and friends, now he is singing it with the angels.
