Family and friends are sad to report the loss of Carl David Elder, Jr. David died on May 4th, 2018 from complications of Type II Diabetes. He was born January 25,1944 in Little Rock, Arkansas. David attended Will Rogers High School in Tulsa where he played on the football and golf teams. He graduated from University of Central Oklahoma, majoring in Commercial Art and Marketing. He also served a tour of duty as a medic in the Oklahoma National Guard. He worked in commercial art and sales in Tulsa, Oklahoma City, and San Francisco, moving back to Tulsa in 1991 to help take care of aging parents. David was an avid golfer and played many courses in Oklahoma, the San Francisco area, and St. Andrews in Scotland. He will be remembered for sense of humor, kindness, and generosity. He is survived by his brother James Elder, sister-in-law Rosalind Elder, and sister Mary Lou Elder. He was proceeded in death by his sister Nancy Ann Elder and parents Carl David (Bud) Elder, Sr, and Mildred Margaret Elder, all from Tulsa.
