Born in Hutchinson, Ks. 10-26-1952 / 02-10-2013 Is survived by husband Max Alan Grier, two sons Ryan Steen Nichols grandsons Zachary Logan Nichols. Carol also loved and adored her three step-children and spouses along with her seven loving step-grandchildren. She was preceded in meeting her Heavenly father by her parents Milton Erma Stade, step-granddaughter Sammi Jo Grier, many friends neighbors. Carol was a graduate of 1970 Haven High School, Haven, Ks. Graduate of Hutchinson Jr. College received her BSE 1974 From Emporia State University, Emporia, Ks. Cosmetology school. Carol was a successful salon owner of 25 years, of several salons where she enjoyed her clients the art of the hair industry. Carol had a passion for her family, agriculture rural living. In 2002 with the help of her husband she was granted a United States Utility patent on a 100 percent plant based soap. With Max's help they pioneered work in growing producing plant based essential oils hydrosols along with the beginning of 100 percent plant based skin body care products produced under the name of Udder Farm's Cream of the Crop Co. Carol received from the State of Oklahoma, Payne Co. 'Woman of the Year', One of 50 women in Oklahoma 'Ag Woman of the Year', Payne Co. 'Ag. Couple of the Year', Most Likely Biz. to Succeed. Carol's Work in the industries she loved slowed down in 2008 with failing health from cancer. Carol loved the companionship of her many close friends in Oklahoma Kansas. Her favorite days were trail rides with friends family, home cooking meals for family friends. Carol wanted to pass on to all she loved her legacy of loving from her heart and her passion for people and all living things. Carol loved flowers, herbs gardening but most important to her was to put an 'End to Bullying' and creating awareness of 'Bullying in Schools, Homes Workplace'.
