Carol Ann McDaniel, 69, of Cushing, Oklahoma, passed away on May 29, 2012. She was born November 3, 1942 in Duluth, Minnesota. Carol had a wonderful appreciation for nature. Her favorite place in the whole world was in her garden. Along with having a green thumb, Carol was an awesome cook, to the delight and enjoyment of her husband, family and friends. Carol was also very proud of her Polish Heritage. She was, and will forever be much loved by her family and friends and will be missed by all that knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, and one brother. Survivors include her husband, the love of her life, Verdain McDaniel; four sons: Michael, and wife, Roxanne of Houston Texas; Rick, and wife, Louise of Stroud, Oklahoma, Steven and wife, Lee Ann of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, and Mark of Stroud, Oklahoma. Also surviving are five grandchildren: Michael, Nicole, David, Courtney, Rachel. In addition, she is survived by six great-grandchildren; one younger sister, Diane Vollman and husband, Jeff of Esko, Minnesota; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
