Kaye was born December 10th, 1936, to C.J. and Zelma Charles of Depew, Ok. She grew up in Depew and Farmington, AR before moving to Seneca, MO in 1956. She married Gary Ritter in 1958, living in Arkansas and Neosho, MO until their divorce in 1979. She worked for Holiday Inn in Joplin, Mo for ten years before marrying Bill Martin in 1988. They moved to Osage Beach, MO where they owned a resort on Lake of the Ozarks. They resided in Tulsa until Bill's death in 2007. Kaye was an employee of Wal-Mart for 25 years until the time of her death. She is survived by her two sons Todd and wife Kristina Ritter of Joplin, MO; Steve Ritter of Tulsa, OK. Grandchildren: Nick Ritter of Joplin, MO; Mason and Madison Ritter of Joplin, MO; Austin Ritter of Columbus, OH; Travis Ritter of Joplin, MO; and one great-grandchild.
