Catharin Aileen Graif Davis Catharin Aileen Graif Davis, 80, departed this life January 21, 2021. Born April 26, 1940 in Waterloo, Iowa to William F. Graif and Margaret Manley Graif, living her early childhood in Waterloo and Great Bend, Kansas before the family relocated to Tulsa in 1946. After graduating from Monte Casino High School, Catharin pursued and attained her Certified Nursing degree and Bachelor of Science from St. John's Hospital. Catharin continued a distinguished career as Supervising Nurse at Hissom Memorial Center, where she had a positive impact on the lives of both children and adults with minor to severe developmental disabilities. Catharin and Mom were best of friends, with multiple trips to Europe and the Middle East. Cathy enjoyed the ancient Egyptian art and culture, and was most artistic making and firing ceramics with her own oven. Catharin was predeceased by her parents, William F. Graif, Sr. and Margaret M. (Graif) Manley. She is survived by her son, William L. Davis, granddaughter Caitlin Davis Owens, grandson Stephen Davis and great granddaughter Lelo Davis. Surviving family includes siblings Mary M. Clark, Rosemary Reeves, William F. Graif, Jr., and many nieces and nephews. The family appreciates the most kind and gracious care from Tulsa's Evergreen Hospice, especially Nurse Heather and Aide Val. Additionally, the services and personnel and professionalism provided by My Choice In Home Senior Services were first class providing care to Catharin. Joy Clemmer provided superior empathetic care before and during Cathy's final days. And, many thanks to the Tulsa Fire Department who assisted Cathy many times over the years. She always commented on those 'good looking firemen'! The family recognizes the time, effort and sacrifices of her son for these many years of caring for his Mother at home during her declining health. Remaining home was a real blessing with the help of all these different entities. A recognition Mass for Catharin will be provided by Christ The King Catholic Church, Tulsa. A private memorial will be held by the family. Interment of her ashes will be with her parents at Calvary Cemetery, Tulsa, Ok.
