Mrs. Cathy Sue May, 61, passed into eternity at her home in Tulsa on Thursday, March 27, 2014. Miss Cathy was born to Carl Arvin and Janice Elaine (Leavell) Carlson on September 13, 1952 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was married to Dewey Corbett May, her beloved husband for 43 years. She and Dewey were blessed with two children, Ryan and Kelley. Mrs. May was a faithful and loyal receptionist to the Tulsa World Newspaper for 38 years. Mrs May was a friendly, courteous, helpful woman with a christian heart. She always wanted to listen to the thoughts and feelings of others. She would be a mom when no one else would. She was an avid reader and puzzle worker. She also enjoyed watching television. She loved her children and everyone around. Mrs. May is survived by her husband: Dewey, of the home, 2 children: Ryan May and wife Sandy of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, Kelley May of Tulsa, Oklahoma 2 grandchildren Jacob and Laurin, 1 brother: Robert "Bob" Carlson of Tulsa, Oklahoma and 1 sister: Carol Thornberry of Georgia. Mrs May was preceded in death by her parents She was ver much loved and will be greatly missed. She has gone home to be with her Lord.
