Charles (Chuck) William Grace passed away Friday, August 6, 2021 in Oklahoma City. Chuck was the son of Alec and Alice Grace and was born in Cushing, Oklahoma on January 15, 1955. The family subsequently moved to Stillwater, where he began the second grade. He graduated from Stillwater High School in 1973. Chuck began his working life as a paperboy for the Stillwater News-Press and from this springboard grew as a businessman owning four separate enterprises during his teenage and adult years. Influenced by his mother, Chuck's primary interest was culinary, as he managed food service units at a number of restaurants and clubs around the state of Oklahoma and Colorado. He believed that dining out should be a pleasant and satisfying event whether it was fast food or an elegant gathering. He loved to personally make breads and desserts fresh daily. His friends and co-workers will remember him as a talented, kind, and generous man who was always willing to help in any way. At the time of his death, he was retired and looking forward to completing several home renovation projects as well as spending time with his beloved dog. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. He is survived by his sister, Beverly Grace of Broken Arrow, who was by his side during the last months of his life. Special remembrance to friends he considered family, Walt and Rita Valega of Stillwater. Chuck also leaves behind many cousins and family members who will always remember his strong work ethic, his winning smile, and his energetic attitude. Special thanks is given to the staff of Accel at Crystal Park in Oklahoma City who cared for and embraced him, helping Chuck keep his spirits up to the end.
