Charles Dennis McNamar, 65 passed away on March 19 at his home on Lake Hudson.
Dennis graduated Nathan Hale High School in the class of 1974. He then began land surveying and inspection for pipeline and fiber optic installation, where he worked in the mountains, deserts, forests, and plains across the country. He was always glad to come home to Oklahoma and his family.
While a formidable opponent at the pool table or fishing dock, you could always expect a smile and a joke from Dennis. It was impossible to be around him without having fun.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Cathy; father James; brother Steve; beloved cousin Patrick Henley; and lifelong friend Daryl Leister.
Survivors include his mother, Dorothy; aunt, Catherine Sheehan; daughter, Emily; sisters, Martha and Barbara, all of Tulsa; sister Mary Louise of Washington D.C. as well as many cousins from coast to coast. He will be missed for the warmth and devotion given to his family.
