Christian Schatz, 25, of Warner, Oklahoma passed away on August 6, 2021. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 28, 5:00 p.m., at 3300 Ambassador Inn in Warner, Oklahoma. Mr. Schatz was born on June 24, 1996 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. At the age of 5, Christian was diagnosed with Mitochondrial Myopathy, a rare form of muscular dystrophy. At age 14, he was placed at The Children's Center in Bethany, Oklahoma. At age 14, it was necessary for him to be placed in a nursing home due to the extensive medical needs. He found his home at Countryside Estates in Warner, Oklahoma where his needs could be met. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Charles Pence, grandfather, Ryan Jansen, and uncle, Brad Schatz. Christian is survived by his mother, Regina Schatz, grandmother, Doris Pence of Bethany, OK, uncles, Russ Pence and Kent Pence, father, William Schatz of Tampa, FL, grandmother, Brenda Jansen, uncle, Matt Schatz, aunt, Shelly Schatz, and numerous cousins in Missouri.
