Obituary

Christopher Lee Rotert, son of the late Walter Lee Rotert and Carolyn Gregory Rotert was born March 6, 1966 in Tulsa Oklahoma. He departed this world peacefully on November 30, 2025 surrounded by family. Chris attended Jenks Public Schools from Kindergarten through his graduation in 1984. He was a member of the Future Farmers of America and enjoyed raising and showing hogs. His hobbies of fishing and hunting stayed with him all through his life. After graduation, Chris worked with his father in the home construction business. Chris later went to drafting school and worked as a CNC Operator.

In 2004 he met the love of his life, Christine. They were married for 20 years. They were race car enthusiasts and enjoyed their race car, except for the times it broke down.

Chris and Christine lived in Hominy where Chris drove a truck and delivered equipment to the oil field. He then moved up to running a spooler, then to installing downhole electrical submersible pumps (ESP's). From there they moved to Texas and Chris traveled all over the south installing downhole ESP's.

In 2015 they moved to Coffeyville, KS where he took a job with The Trigo Group in Coffeyville as Facilities Manager. Chris excelled at this job until his death. He enjoyed his co-workers and was highly thought of there.

He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Rotert of Broken Arrow, maternal grandparents, Bob and Alta Gregory of Jenks, paternal grandparents, Don and Beulah Willis of Tulsa and niece Amy Lynn Rotert of Broken Arrow.

He is survived by his wife, Christine Rotert and their daughter, Taylor Rotert of Coffeyville, son Michael Berghoefer of Pawhuska, son Christopher Vaughn of Austin, Texas, son Brian Rotert and wife Felicia of Locust Grove and 4 grandchildren Addi, Jocey, Blaine and Journey. His mother, Carolyn Rotert of Jenks, his sister Donna Matlock and husband Allen of Tulsa, his brother Rodney of Jenks, his brother Willie and wife Alisa of Tahlequah and a host of nieces and nephews who loved and adored their Uncle Chris.

He made friends wherever he was. He will be missed by all his family and friends.
