Claude Charles Oliver III, fondly known as Butch, was born January 27, 1946, and departed this world June 29, 2022 at age of 76. Butch is survived by his wife of 38 years, Sharon Oliver, his five children: Kimberly Jo Vann, Claude C. "Cameron" Oliver IV, Denise Lynn Oliver, Tracy Lee Oliver, and Patricia Anne Roop, and his seven grandchildren. Butch, who resided in Eucha, Oklahoma, was a life-long resident of the state. He retired from the City of Tulsa as a Lake Patrolman serving at Spavinaw Lake. To say that Butch loved fishing would be an understatement. He loved to fish and loved to talk about fishing. Butch was a practical joker and a great teller of stories. He loved his family and enjoyed family gatherings. Whenever challenges arose in Butch and Sharon's marriage, he would always say, "Here is another great adventure." Life is all about attitude. Preceding him in death were his mother, Frances, and father, Claude C. "Jim" Oliver, Jr, and his brother James "Jimmy" Oliver.
