Constance (Connie) Mae Durey Cohen, age 79 passed away December 14, 2015 in El Reno, Oklahoma. Connie was born to Leonard and Laura Durey of Prairie Township, Delaware County, near Manchester Iowa, on August 16, 1935. Constance grew up on her fathers farm, about two and one half miles west of Manchester; her sister Leonora was born in 1943. The two sisters led a comfortable, rural Iowa farm life, with picking corn, raising horses, cattle, dogs and cats and 4-H Early on Connie would walk about three quarters of a mile to a rural school, later going to high school in Manchester. After graduation, she moved to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to work. Connie met her husband-to-be, Marlyn, in 1952, and were married in Manchester in 1955, then residing in Cedar Rapids. After several career moves for Marlyns work they retired to rural Yukon, Oklahoma where they crafted a new house. They had an acreage where Conne had room for a horse, dog and cats, fun with family and friends! Connie is preceded in death by her husband, Marlyn Leslie Cohen; Father: Leonard Frederick Durey; Mother: Laura Mae Durey, a younger Sister: Leonora Marie, and an older stillborn sister. She is survived by a son: Corey L. Cohen of Yukon, Oklahoma; Aunt: Betty L. Ward of Atlanta, Georgia; Uncle: Clark W. Bushnell of San Marie, California.
