Obituary

Daniel Lee Cooper, 38, passed away on December 10, 2021. Daniel excelled at serving his country having been a decorated veteran of the Iraq War. Daniel was born on April 3, 1983, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Curtis Lee Cooper and Terri Gee Thompson. Daniel received his bachelor's degree from Northeastern State University, majoring in Computer Engineering. In 2003, Daniel enlisted in the United States Air Force. He was based in Minot, North Dakota before being deployed in Baghdad. He was well-respected and proudly served his country until 2009. In his free time, Daniel enjoyed hiking and spending time outdoors. Daniel was always looking to do for others and was very protective of those he loved. He will always be remembered for his humble nature, his bravery, and his selflessness. Daniel will forever be loved by those left to cherish his memory. He is survived by his father, Curtis Lee Cooper (Michel Jo Kallstrom), mother, Terri Gee Thompson (Michael Thompson), siblings, Amber Cooper Lozano, Amanda Thompson Woolsey (Daniel Woolsey), and Taylor Thompson, niece, Ariana Lozano, and a host of other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, 2:00 p.m., at Memorial Park, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
