Daniel Wayne (Peres) Jones a proud veteran of the US Navy passed away April 22, 2022 from Diabetic Ketoacidosis The son of George Jones and the late Lewellyn Percival. He was born in Independence, Mo but was raised in Buckner, Mo. he was a 1981 graduate of Fort Osage High School where he was a cross country runner and still holds a track record. At the age of 19 Danny enlisted in the US Navy. He valued this service highly and attained the rank of E4. He was stationed in Germany, Italy and Mississippi where he achieved many awards. After his service he worked for Garsite Inc in Kansas City, KS for many years. Danny is survived by his father George Jones of Independence, Mo his boys Bryce and Brandon Jones of Kansas City. His sisters Carolyn Davis , Peggy Ginskey of Florida and Lou Ann Newsome of Lawson Mo his life long girlfriend Lori Kelly and many nieces, nephews and aunt. He is proceeded in death by his mother Lewellyn Percival, grandparents and niece.
