Darla Bard Senn made her transition on January 3, 2024, following a lengthy illness.

She spent her life in the nursing profession and was regarded as highly skilled in her profession. Throughout her career, Darla worked for various hospitals in several different capacities. She came to Tulsa in the early 1980's as the head of nursing for the Oral Roberts hospital which was being built and staffed at that time. Later in life, Darla became self-employed working in a consulting capacity providing expert witness testimony. A life-long student, Darla also received certification as a Case Manager and continued in this role until shortly before her passing.

She was a long-time student of new thought and spirituality and one of the founding members of the Unity of Tulsa Midtown, serving on one of their first Board of Directors. She was a voracious reader and an excellent clarinet player. She also loved to travel and visited Europe several times. She was also a devoted pet owner to her bichon JoJo (who passed several years ago) and most recently to Max, her Maltese. Darla continued to enjoy all these hobbies until she became ill.
Darla was preceded in death by her loving mother, Stella Wilhelmina Bard (Pries), father, Ward Oliver Bard and brother, Daniel. Darla is survived by her daughter, Monica Senn of Aurora, Colorado, three grandchildren Jacob Quick, Raechel Krolikowski and Sarah Johnson, and a great grand-daughter Juniper.
