Darlene Fay Van Blaricom, age 75, of Catoosa, Oklahoma passed away on December 8, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at her home. Mrs. Van Blaricom was born May 16, 1939 in Three Sands, Oklahoma. She was raised in Tonkawa, Oklahoma. She married Floyd Van Blaricom, Jr., on June 28, 1957 and lived in various places in Oklahoma, Kansas and Hot Springs, Arkansas. Darlene was a seamstress for Bryan Infant Wear for many years and retired from Motel 6 in 2000, where she had worked as an auditor. Darlene was an artist who enjoyed painting and drawing. She also loved reading and gardening. She was a loving mother to her three daughters and enjoyed playing with her grandchildren. Darlene is preceded in death by her husband Floyd; her parents Carl and Jewel Baker; brother Richard Baker; daughter Robin Sevier; son-in-laws Jimmie Sevier and Mark Mattonen and her precious grandson Derek Jon Mattonen. Survivors include her daughters: Cheri Mattonen, Cheryl Leeds (Robert); sisters: Doris Davis and Linda Allen (David) of Ponca City; grandchildren: Amanda Miklavcic, Dustin Sevier, Dakota Sevier and Jared Mattonen; great granddaughters: Elizabeth and Emma Sevier and Skylar Miklavcic.
