David Messer was born April 26, 1953 in Nyack, New York and has passed away at the age of 62 on April 23, 2016 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Dave enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and playing with grandkids. He was a loving husband, father, and Papa. Dave was in the service for 13 years then drove a truck cross-country until he retired to raise children and grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father Albert 'Tally' Messer, his mother Anne Cratty Messer, and sister Mary Lyle Jackson. Survivors include his wife Donna Chaney Messer, children: Donna Jean Helms, Daryl J. Helms of Noble, Oklahoma, Dakota J. Helms of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Danelle J. Helms, Danielle Messer of Norman, Jacob Messer of Norman and Jeremiah Messer of Knoxville, Tennessee; 2 grandsons: Chaney Messer, Gaberial Harper of the home, 4 other grandsons and 6 granddaughters, and a host of nephews, nieces, and friends.
