IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Debbie Jean
Works
July 13, 1957 – June 2, 2024
Debbie was born in Tulsa, OK but spent her early years in Foyil, OK. She was a wild child who loved adventures and was up for anything. Her sister Julie remembers riding mini-bikes, playing card games, and her always running around barefoot. She was also notorious for sneaking into the kitchen after bed to drink all her mother's pickle juice. She would then move to Tulsa in her early adult years and live out her life there.
You could catch Debbie wearing her favorite blue jeans, boots, and perfume and hitting up a dance floor or casino floor. She was always cracking jokes with strangers and making people laugh. It was in Tulsa that she met her late husband, Fernando Rodriguez. They never had biological children together, but she treated his children as her own. Never referred to them as step, just as son or daughters. She also loved having dogs and her rescue cat Rosie and spoiled them all. Debbie will be remembered for her blunt truths, her sassy humor, her boisterous laughing, and her great country cooking.
Debbie was preceded in death by her mother Norma Jean, her brother Rick, and husband Fernando Rodriguez.
She is survived by her father Don; her siblings Gerald and his wife Sammie; Vickie and her husband Joe; Carol; Randy and his wife Molly; and Julie. Her children Fernando Jr and his wife Krysta; daughter Maria and her husband Lanz; daughter Xochitl and her husband Eli. Also loved by many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be thrown at a later date privately for her family.
