Deborah Allyson
Cross
Jun 4, 1951 — Oct 24, 2026
Deborah (Debbie) Allyson Cross passed from this life on October 24th, 2026. Debbie was born in Brooklyn, New York, on June 4, 1951, to James Arthur and Audrey Budd Rada. After marrying her first love, Larry Austin Cross, at age 18, she planted new roots in Oklahoma, where they raised three beautiful children, Alicia, Brandon, and Jennifer. Debbie was a devoted and resourceful homemaker who loved to cook and craft, became an excellent seamstress, and poured her heart into her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
While raising her children, Debbie was also driven to pursue a career for herself. She attended night school to obtain her associate’s degree in health sciences and began a 40+ year-long career working in the Pharmacy field as a technician.
Debbie was fiercely independent and immensely generous to her family. She adored her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She loved cooking for them, going to sporting events, dance competitions, school programs, and making handmade gifts for them. She also had a soft spot for animals, and her home was always filled with dogs and cats that she cared for.
Debbie enjoyed working, and she worked until the age of 70, when she finally retired. She was truly loved and cherished and will be greatly missed.
Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, James Arthur and Audrey Budd Rada, and her son, Brandon Austin Cross.
She is survived by her brother John Arthur Rada; her daughter Alicia Tiefenthaler and her husband Andrew of Jenks, OK; daughter Jennifer Cross of Altus, OK; Grandchildren, Daniel Vasquez, Mariah Elliott and husband Geoffrey, Errick Torix, Ashton Torix, Avery Parks and husband Garrett, Gabriel Tiefenthaler and fiancée Andi, Jack Tiefenthaler, and her seven great-grandchildren.
