Donald Leroy Clum, 81, died Monday, November 22, 2021, at St John Hospital in Tulsa, OK.
He was born on December 16, 1939, in Tulsa, OK, the son of Floyd and Geraldine (Murray) Clum. He served in the US Army, stationed in Germany. He married Linda Cohea on March 16, 1966. Don worked in electronics, retired from Juno Systems where he built circuit boards for driving license testing machines.
He loved racing, photography, and videography. Always with a camera in hand capturing all of life's precious moments. Baseball games, soccer games, graduations, family gatherings, and any race he could get to. He captured them all.
He started shooting races in 1966, preserving some of the best racing moments for over 50 years. He instilled his passion of photography and racing in his family as early as his wedding day, stopping at Thunderbird Speedway in Muskogee on their honeymoon. Both sons follow in his footsteps, Danny as a photographer and Darrell cataloging and digitizing Don's life work.
Survivors include his sons, Darrell (Andrea) Clum and Danny Clum; his daughter, Debbie Clum; his brother, David (Dot) Clum; his sister Susie (Mike) Doolin; five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Floyd and Geraldine Clum.
Cremation will take place and there will be no immediate services. Arrangements by Cremation Society of Oklahoma. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date via social media.
