Born April 12, 1945 in Poteau, Oklahoma to his parents Clarence and Virgie. Don died at his home January 24, 2019. He was 73. Don worked as a certified welder in the field of oil equipment construction, primarily in Tulsa, OK, from 1964, until his retirement approximately 50 years later. Don was the youngest sibling of 3 brothers & 1 sister. He loved fishing, motorcycles, and vintage muscle cars. "Dad Johnson" most deeply loved his family and friends. He enjoyed watching Westerns with his kids, collecting antiques, and creating art from scrap and sheet metal. Sometimes he was wry, and sometimes silly, but making his loved ones laugh was always his favorite pastime. Don is survived by 3 sons, James, Cliff, and Wes, by 2 daughters, Cynde & Brandy, and by several grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by all who loved him.
