Donna Loud, 82, passed away peacefully in her home in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in the early morning hours of October 3rd, 2025. Born in Lake Placid, New York, Donna built a life full of love, creativity, and devotion to her family.

In 1963, she married the love of her life, George W. Loud Jr., and together they raised four children: Bill, Jody, Scott, and Stephanie. After settling in Oklahoma—with a brief chapter in Minnesota—Donna and George shared 48 joyful years of marriage until his passing. Donna was a master of all things handmade. From sewing and quilting to painting, macramé, knitting, crocheting, and cross-stitching, her talents knew no bounds. She worked for several years at Hancock Fabrics in the Farm Shopping Center and even

co-owned a ceramics shop in the 1980s. Her home, where she lived for 50 years, is filled with the warmth of her handiwork— holiday decorations, lovingly stitched Christmas stockings, and many of her cross-stitched or ceramic creations on the walls. A passionate gardener, Donna cultivated both delicious vegetables and lovely

flowers, with irises and roses holding a special place in her heart. She was also a devoted animal lover, always surrounded by her beloved dogs. Donna was a proud and loving Mom and Nana, cheering from the sidelines at

soccer, wrestling, and volleyball matches, orange slices and Gatorade in hand. Her legacy lives on in the memories of her children and grandchildren, who carry with them the love she poured into every stitch, every bloom, and every

moment. Donna Loud was truly a beautiful soul—inside and out. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished by her family and all who knew her.
