Doris Mae Sorick was called home on June 27, 2012, at the age of 98. Doris was born on April 11, 1914 in Jewell County, KS to Roland and Nelly Stafford. She was the oldest daughter with four brothers and one sister. She joins her husband, Paul Sorick, in their heavenly home. She is survived by her sister, Betty Thronson, and her children, June Stanley, Janice Lovelace, James Sorick, Jerry Sorick and his wife Sarah. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren. She is remembered by her family for her love of laughter, cooking, sewing, traveling, card playing, and how much she loved all her family very dearly.
