Dorothy Marie (Cleghorn) Beeman of Tulsa Oklahoma died peacefully October 17, 2021 from a battle with cancer. Her family is deeply saddened by her passing. She was born on February 20, 1936 the daughter of Charles & Florence (Fuller) Cleghorn in Cresco Iowa. Dorothy "Dot" spent most of her working career in Muskogee Oklahoma in the restaurant business. First as a waitress and later the food & beverage manager at the Holiday Inn. Her interests included family, friends, neighbors, gardening, cooking, reading and caring for her pets, especially Jake, her beloved cat of 17 years. She is survived by her 3 sons Douglas Francis Armstrong, Dennis Patrick Armstrong and Daniel Joseph Armstrong, Daughter-in-laws Kelly Armstrong and Tracey Armstrong. Several grandchildren and great grandchildren. A brother Gene Cleghorn and a sister Jeanette Young. She is preceded in death by her son David Michael Armstrong, her brother Donald Cleghorn and sisters Louise Heibel, Laura Armstrong and Ethel Haugsted. A celebration of life memorial will be held at the Elks Lodge in Broken Arrow Oklahoma on January 8, 2022 in her honor.
