Our beloved wife, mother and friend, Dorothy Charleen Greene, age 90 of Tulsa, Oklahoma, died Saturday May 28th 2016. She died of cancer, surrounded by family. She was born, November 23, 1925 in Scranton Arkansas to Homer Baker and Clara (Dixon) Baker. Dorothy was the youngest of five children, preceded in death by Pauline George, Sie Baker, Bob Baker, and Arron Baker. She attended Central High School in downtown Tulsa and graduated in 1945. Dorothy was married on June 26, 1971 to Freddie Merritte Greene of Pharaoh, Oklahoma. They lived in Tulsa together for 45 years. She was a former office manager at Knotts Rambler Ranch and Knotts American Motors. She also worked as a secretary at Tulsa Job Corp were she retired in 1986. Dorothy is survived by her husband Freddie M. Greene and his daughter Lucie Greene. Also son Gil P. Pruitt and his wife Cynthia Pruitt and their two children Megan Hood and Joshua Holloway and two grandchildren Xavier Hood and Theodore Hood. As well as many other family. She was loved and respected by those who knew her and she will be missed.
