Dr. Linda Sue Brown passed away here in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma at 11:00 AM, October 10th, at the age of 78 after a long illness. Her family was at her bedside. Lin worked as a school psychologist and counselor for 52 years in Sand Springs Schools, Union Public Schools, the Woodlands, HEB, Sitka, Nuiqsut, Barrow, and Anchorage, Alaska. Also in Moses Lake, Washington. She earned a PhD from Oklahoma State University, a Masters from Xavier University Cincinnati, and Bachelors Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Bob and Lin spent many years at First Baptist in Tulsa and at Sitka Lutheran Church in Sitka Alaska. Lin and Bob traveled extensively around the world including Europe, Africa, and South America. In retirement they spent their summers in Oklahoma and wintered in Sun City AZ. She is survived by her husband of 58 years Robert Brown, son Robert Brown ll and his wife Cyndi of Reno, Nevada , her sister Mary Jane Seals of Stillwater Oklahoma, Mike and Heather Rine and their daughter Bear of Stllwater , also Mychaelyn Rine Stanart and her partner Tracy Stanart of Tulsa and her Granddaughter Hanna Brown of Austin Texas. Lin was preceded in death by mother and father Stanley and Ruby Lee Brown. She had many cousins, neices and nephews. We will have a celebration of life when it is safe to do so. LEGACY TOUCH DZ3TWE44
