Obituary

Edward "Eddie" Walter Brown Jr., age 57, passed away on February 5, 2023, at his home in Locust Grove, Oklahoma.

Eddie was born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, on March 26, 1965, to Edward Walter Brown Sr. and Norma Mern Brown. He grew up moving through a few states for his father's work, until his family permanently moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he spent most of his childhood and young adult life. When he was 28, he married his beautiful wife Dana, moved to Locust Grove, and there they raised their two wonderful daughters together.

He was a master carpenter and skilled woodworker for over 40 years, and he took great pride in his career and ability to build anything he put his mind to. He was a devoted family man and would sacrifice anything to ensure his loved ones were taken care of. He was a doting husband, proud father, patient papa, loving uncle, the best brother, and a great mentor to those around him. His favorite hobbies were spending time in his woodshop, fishing, being outdoors, and playing with his grandchildren. His sense of humor and laughter would fill a room, and he loved to crack jokes with everyone. Edward Walter Brown Jr. is a name that will be cherished by many. His memory will last forever.

Eddie is survived in death by his wife Dana Su Brown, two daughters, Meagan Marie Brown and Whitney Lynn Brown, son-in-law, Chance Tyler Bowling, two grandchildren, Zaden Alexander Bowling and Emerson Tyler Bowling, along with his three sisters, Cynthia Lynn David, Dianna Lee Brown-Barone, and Robbin Marie Nelson.

He was preceded in death by his mother Norma Mern Brown, father Edward Walter Brown Sr., brother Lauren Deel "LD" Brown, and his brothers-in-law, Ralph Billy Barone and Bradley Doyle David.

The family will host a celebration of life memorial service on his birthday weekend at his home in Locust Grove, on Saturday March 25th.

"In one of the stars, I shall be living. In one of them, I shall be laughing."
