Edward W. Schippman, Jr. passed away June 15, 2014 at his home in Broken Arrow. Ed was born March 16, 1936 in Evanston, Illinois to Helen Edward Schippman. Ed was a retired Parts Manager for several GM dealerships. The last 15 years he worked part time at Word Com in Tulsa. He loved cars and watching car races. He was an avid history buff and loved traveling around the country. Ed is survived by his brother wife Jack Martha Schippman of Mt. Prospect, Illinois, his children Patricia Harris and husband Stan of Tulsa, Clayton Coe of Colorado, Nedean Geurin and husband Jim of Broken Arrow, Kim McNamara of Illinois, Kevin Schippman and wife Gail of Wisconsin and Keith Schippman and wife Caryl of Illinois. He also left 14 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren with 3 on the way and 7 great-great-grandchildren. Ed was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Jean Schippman. Memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society or Trinity Lutheran Church in Broken Arrow.
