Ella Bernice Johnson was born on February 29, 1952 to Jack and Ella Rogers in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Ella attended grade school at Leach Public Schools and graduated from Oaks Mission High School in May of 1970. Soon after, on July 3, 1970, Ella married Galen Foster Johnson. Ella was a housewife, babysitter, professional seamstress, donut shop owner, and was employed with Little Debbie's and Braum's. Her biggest accomplishment having been raising and caring for all of her 67 foster children. Those left to cherish Ella's memory include her husband of 50 years, Galen Johnson; daughter, Sandra Poyner (Paul Poyner); son, Bryan Johnson (Brandy Johnson); grandchildren: Abby Butler (Dave Butler), Cindy Johnson, Brook Johnson, Toby Johnson, and McKay Johnson; Great- grandchildren: Cloey and Aiden Buck, Malena Johnson, Amarie and Siri Alkazar, and Jaxon Johnson.
