Erich was born in Essen Germany and came to the United States when he was 15 years old thanks to Hitler He lived with his Uncle and Aunt in Nashville TN. He graduated from Vanderbilt University where he was awarded the Founders Medal for having the highest grades in his class. He served in the Navy during World War II then went on to receive his Master's Degree from MIT. He went to work for Getty Oil Co. where he became Planning Manager for Supply and Distribution. His position moved him from Delaware to Long Island, NY then to Tulsa OK. When he retired he became active in many community areas. He served as a Gillie for Gilcrease Museum, a Mediator for Project Get Together, a Master Gardner, an Arbitrator for the Better Business Bureau and also volunteered at Saint Francis Hospital. He is survived by his wife Doris, two sons Bill and his wife Mary Ann and Ken Westfield and his wife, Debra, 5 grandchildren: Erich, Michael, Gabrielle L .
