Johnson, Erik Alan, 56, of Tulsa, OK passed away on February 22,2020 at Tulsa, OK. A Memorial Service will be held 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at Bethany Christian Church Sanctuary, 6730 S. Sheridan, Tulsa, OK presided by Rev. Kelli Driscoll Crews. A visitation will follow the service in the church sanctuary. Mr. Johnson was born May 31, 1963 in Kansas City, MO. He is preceded in death by his father, John (Jack) Byers Johnson, Jr.; his nephew, Joseph Gabriel Anderson; his favorite maternal grandmother, Olive Ryan Beattie and maternal grandfather, Aubrey Evelyn Beattie; paternal grandparents, John Byers Johnson, Sr. and Mable Johnson; and best friend Brian Kent Lasyone; cousin, Kyle Beattie; aunts and uncles , Shirley Beattie Hazlett and Gene Hazlett, Donna Beattie and Chuck Johnson. He is survived by his mother, Ruth Beattie Johnson; sister, Karen Johnson Anderson and husband Bruce; maternal uncle, Jack Beattie and wife Penny; nephew, Benjamin James Anderson and wife Mauna Zohouri Anderson; great nephew, Asher Maddox Anderson; niece, Bethany Joanna Anderson Grainger and husband Nicholas; cousins, Kathy Hazlett, Murray Hazlett, Brian Beattie, Laurie Beattie Pounds and Scott Beattie. Donations may be made to Rolling Oaks Memorial Garden for flowers to be planted in March before internment.
