I'm very sad to share the news of Erin's unexpected passing after a short illness in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She died on her birthday, June 13, 2023 – and would have appreciated that symmetry. Erin is survived by her mother, Kathryn Nisbet, her longtime companion, Jason Crosby, a large family, and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Hibbard, maternal grandparents James & Agnes (Ann) Phillips, and paternal grandparents Preston & Beverly Hibbard.

Erin was creative, brilliant, loving, funny, devoted to animals (especially cats) and invariably late – except for now.

She was a terrible driver and an excellent conversationalist. She loved literature and music. She left us too soon and will never be forgotten.
